L'autre Monde

This watercolor transports the viewer to a dark cedar bog somewhere in Northern Maine, where the Milky way reflects across the surface of inky dark waters. Deep blues give way to indigo and violet, with subtle hints of red violet, dusty rose, and yellow amongst the falling stars. Nebulas and star dust flit across the surface of the water, punctuated by the dark silhouette of leafless tress in the night sky. This magical landscape pulls the viewer into its otherworldly bliss, as though you could swim across the cosmic array of colors. L'autre Monde is the other world, a place where fairies and creatures of all manner exist. A lovely addition to any fantasy lover's art collection!
